MaryJoanna Grisso fell in love with yoga ten years ago in a class that was focused on breathing for singers. She quickly found that yoga began to change the way she performed on stage, and in life. Since then, this practice has opened her heart, mind, and body; bringing true joy, gratitude, and overall wellness. In 2015, she deepened her practice and received her 200hr. teacher training from The Giving Tree Yoga Studio in Astoria, NY. She is humbled to share her love and experience of yoga with others to help improve their overall physical and mental balance. Her classes focus on alignment, breath, chakras, meditation, and offer both modifications and challenges for students across many levels. In creating a loving and joyful learning environment, her hope is that students will cultivate strength and compassion towards themselves and one another. Namaste!
